The beautiful Costa del Sol coastline is dotted with some incredible beach and pool clubs, famous for their food, cocktails, atmosphere and events. Whether you’re looking to party with your friends until the sun goes down or relax by the pool sipping cocktails, the Coast has a beach club for everyone.
Here are 10 of the best beach clubs in and around Marbella;
1. Nikki Beach Marbella
Perhaps one of the most famous beach clubs in Marbella and around the world, Nikki Beach is an absolute favourite. Known for its signature ‘Amazing Sundays’, this luxury beach club combines great music, dining, drinks and entertainment.
No matter which Nikki Beach I have gone to, I’ve always had the best day out and it’s the perfect place for groups of friends. As soon as you walk in, the all-white Andalusian décor combined with a bohemian vibe instantly calms you. The restaurant showcases international cuisine and refreshing cocktails, including their famous Sushi boats – all while looking out at the beautiful Med.
The Nikki here in Marbella is expensive, but it’s worth it when you’re on holiday or celebrating a special occasion.
2. Ocean Club Marbella
The original beach club in Marbella, Ocean Club sits on the frontline of Puerto Banús overlooking the Mediterranean. Famous for its ‘Champagne Sprays’, this classic beach club offers extra-large sun beds and a huge saltwater pool, making it another great choice for groups of friends.
While Champagne Sprays are perfect for party-goers, Ocean can also be perfect for a chilled day out by the pool. The restaurant offers a fine dining experience with delicious food and great cocktails. If you’re a mojito fan, the raspberry and ginger mojito is a must-try!
3. Naô Pool Club Marbella
Located in Puerto Banús, Naô Pool Club is a lively venue with incredible views of La Concha mountain. This pool club is great for groups of friends and party-goers, offering luxury sun beds, a large pool with floating ice cream and donut inflatables and a great restaurant.
Naô also hosts evening events on certain Thursdays with incredible DJ’s and a black dress code. If you’re looking to party, this is the one for you!
4. La Sala by the Sea
Very popular amongst us Brits, La Sala by the Sea is a Thai inspired beachfront destination in Puerto Banús hosting weekly pool parties. The beach club has three tropical bars, a swimming pool, restaurant and VIP rock whirlpool.
Compared to its glamorous neighbour beach clubs, La Sala by the Sea is more reasonably priced and caters well to groups. If you’re looking for a lively atmosphere, check out this beach club on the weekends where they have DJ’s, live saxophonists and dancers.
5. The Beach, La Reserva Club Sotogrande
Another one of my favourite days out, La Reserva Club in Sotogrande is the first country club to bring the beach to the hills with a man-made lagoon and 2,800 square metres of sandy beach. When they say it offers the ultimate and first of a kind environment in which to relax, it really means it!
This is a great choice if you have children, including toddlers, because the lagoon is shallow and there are sun beds that sit right on the front giving you full view of what the little ones are getting up to. As well as this, there is a kids club, children’s play area and water sports lagoon for the older ones.
For those looking to get a break from the kids, there is an adult pool overlooking the sports lagoon and cocktail bar where you can soak in the sun and recharge.
6. El Oceano
Situated right on the water’s edge and offering unspoiled sea views, El Oceano is a luxury beach hotel and restaurant in Miraflores, Mijas. You can book VIP sun beds even if you’re not a guest of the hotel, giving you access to big comfortable beds, personal waiter service and the pool with a swim-up bar.
El Oceano feels exclusive and you can be sure to receive impeccable service. If you’re looking to relax by the pool, sip on the best Daiquiris and enjoy an incredible view of the Mediterranean, this is the place for it!
7. La Plage Casanis
Part of the Casanis group, La Plage Casanis is an amazing oceanfront restaurant and beach club in Elviria. Their funky décor, incredible cuisine and cocktails, beach beds and music events make it a popular choice for a fun beach day.
Well-known for their Sunday event, ‘Sunset Rituals’, you can enjoy an afternoon of great DJ’s, entertainment and dancers while you watch the sun go down and party with your friends.
8. Trocadero
A firm family favourite for a chilled pool day, the Trocadero beach clubs are owned by Grupo Trocadero who have multiple venues dotted along the Costa del Sol. Our local one in Estepona has only been open for a year or two, but it’s a great addition to the group.
This exclusive beach club is located on the front of Estepona’s promenade with an incredible restaurant, large beautifully decorated terraces, a swimming pool and cocktail bar. The restaurant presents a wide offer of both Mexican and Japanese cuisine – if you’re open to trying new things, try the Dog Fish tacos!
9. Nosso
Situated in Elviria, Nosso is a beautiful beachfront restaurant and club. The bohemian décor, comfortable beach beds and magnificent sea views combine to make Nosso a perfect spot for a chilled beach day.
Their single sun beds are priced at 25€ and the restaurant serves authentic Asian-Mediterranean food and some of the best cocktails. I really love this beach club for a relaxing beach day; it’s picturesque, reasonably priced and serves great food.

10. The Beach House Marbella
A beautiful fine-dining restaurant nestled on the oceanfront in Elviria, The Beach House offers elegant beach dining and a beach lounge with luxury sun bed options. This spot is great for a beach day with friends and family because where it sits, the sea tends to be calmer and the Beach House offer water sport activites, making it perfect for swimming and paddle boarding.
I’ve noticed over the years an increase in their prices but the service, food and location are great. It always has a lively atmosphere and they host live music events and performances for a fun day or night out.
